Słowa kluczowe (w języku angielskim): runoff conditions, snowmelt, precipitation, air temperature, wind direction, snow water equivalent

Zarys treści w języku angielskim: Monitoring and measurements in experimental basins in the Jizerské hory Mts. have been performed for more than twenty five years. There are seven basins ranging in area from 1.9 to 10.6 km2 with an elevation ranging from 700 to 1000 m a. s. l. and a total area of 38 km2. The aim of the paper is to present analysis of data collected during several winter seasons when the melting of snow took place without any precipitation input. The goal of the research has been to find the relationship between outflow resulting from melting snow and measured climate data, especially air temperature, wind direction, and wind speed during the daytime. The dependence of the volume of daily outflow on decreasing snow depth and snow water equivalent was also studied. This type of analysis may be useful for the purpose of forecasting snowmelt intensity using air temperature, wind direction, and wind speed forecasts not only for the Jizerské hory Mts. region but also for other areas - this assuming a detailed knowledge of local weather conditions.
