Recommendations for presentations:

Instruction for oral presentation

Conference room Conference room Conference room

Each presentation will be limited to 12 minutes with 3 additional minutes for short questions just after each presentation. Each session will end with up to 15 minute discussion. Please remember not to exceed your allotted time.

Presentations will use the conference's PC-based computer projection system with Microsoft PowerPoint (ver. 2003). You will be required to bring your presentation as a PowerPoint file on a CD-ROM, or USB flash drive. Macintosh and Linux users: please convert your file to PC format before you leave for the conference.

Use horizontal (landscape) slide format because of the aspect ratio of the projection screen.

For the slides recommended are fonts with a minimum size of 16-point (24-point preferred) using bold. This includes the fonts in graphs, pictures or figures. Avoid excessive detail that will be lost when viewing in a large room (see photos).

Instruction for poster session:

Authors of posters will be asked for 1.5 minute presentation of their posters at the conference room with 1 or 2 slides to encourage the participants to visit their poster-stands during the poster session.

The session will start just after poster presentations. It will take 1,5 hours. Author(s) of the posters should accompany their posters during the session.

The maximum available board space for each poster will be ca. 160 cm (heigth) by 120 cm (width).
